FAQ

Q If I am certified with another organization such as I-ACT, may I have my achievement recognized with GPACT?
OR
IF I gradated an I-ACT school but am not a member of I-ACT, can I get recognition?
YES, until July 31, 2009, we will "Grandfather " I-ACT school graduates and or members.
Foundation and Intermediate Level I-ACT = Certified Colon Hydrotherapist Level II GPACT
Advanced I-ACT = Advanced GPACT Level III Instructor I-ACT will be required to follow the application guidelines set forth on the Mentor application for consideration.

Q Why is the intro level for new therapists starting at a GPACT school called Level II ?
What we call level I is for a person who has only taken our home study portion and was trained unofficially, not at a recognized school, therefore we cannot give the same level of recognition to them in fairness to those that have studied professionally. They must noneltheless provide video to prove that they have mandatory skill and safety practices for any recognition from GPACT.

Q I have heard that the Chi Curriculum commissioned by GPACT is great, can I buy it for my own self study to improve my practice?
Members may contact us for details.
Q How many ads may a member place in the classifieds?
UNLIMITED, however currently we will allow 1 ad per month for free, each additional for a flat fee of $20 for 40 characters of space. Any logo or image will be an additional $5. An ad will run for 7 days unless you request early removal.
Q Can a GPACT member use the classifieds section to post ads for non-industry related ads?
Currently we are limiting it to things strictly related to industry, should it change, we would announce it in the newsletter.
Q Can anyone BLOG or use the Forum?
Anyone can read, but only members may post on the forum or blog.

Q What is the difference between a Mentor and an Educational Facility?
An Educational Facility is the "business" of education in Closed System Colon Therapy for GPACT, and a Mentor is an educator at / for a business. They are two different applications, since not every Mentor will own a school, and will seek employment as a Mentor. $150 for each application type.

Q Why is GPACT a company?
We are run as a business for business people! IF we don't "work" for our members, we deserve to no longer serve you!

Q Are you going to become a non-profit?
We are in the process of application for a 501(c)3, NON Profit, for the purpose of raising money for licensing for colon therapy and clinical research. This was always part of the PLAN!

Q When do memberships come up for renewal?
365 days from the day you sign up!

Q Are you going to hold Conventions/Congress?
YES, and in nice places too, such as Hawaii, Jamaica, Cost Rica etc. Why should it be boring! Can you say CRUISE SHIP!!
